Greenville SC Neighborhood Analysis (Our Movers eat at Smoke on the Water in Downtown Greenville)

Good evening great people of Greenville!  Hope everyone had a great weekend and has had a good Monday today.  Our guys got some dinner at Smoke on the Water (http://www.saucytavern.com/)…you really can’t order anything bad there (food or beer wise).  All the sides are soooooooo good.  Definitely one of the best restaurants in Downtown Greenville or Upstate South Carolina.

What do you think is the best neighborhood in Greenville or Upstate South Carolina?  Their are many, many great options and its all probably completely relative to where you grew up or where you live.

Alta Vista

The popular Cleveland Park stretches through this neighborhood which is also close to Falls Park on the Reedy, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, and numerous dining and shopping destinations throughout downtown Greenville.

Main Street

One of the reasons that Thornblade has become so desirable is because of the park like setting that its residents enjoy – wide avenues, open green space, and tree-lined streets are some of the features of this quietly growing neighborhood. With nearly 400 homes in the neighborhood – residents have easy access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping.

Cobblestone
One of Greenville’s newer luxury, gated communities – Cobblestone features a quiet neighborhood with many amenities near convenient shopping and dining areas. Greenville homes in this neighborhood are on half acre to one and a half acre lots and range in price from the $600,000 range to over 1 million dollar range.
With wide boulevards, this exclusive gated community also offers residents a private tennis court and clubhouse, swimming pool, and elegant landscaping. Many residents are members of the many nearby golf courses and enjoy the quiet community within Cobblestone’s gates.

Chanticlear
First developed in the 1970′s around the Chanticlear Course of the private Greenville Country Club – Chanticlear is still a popular neighborhood in Greenville, SC. Greenville homes in the Chanticlear neighborhood generally start out in the $300,000 dollar range but average around $500,000 and are located within a few minutes of Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Located right off of Augusta Road, this neighborhood has easy access to Interstate 85 and other major arteries through Greenville. With wide boulevards and a quiet neighborhood – many physicians from the neighboring hospital make this neighborhood their home.

Claremont
